Recently my childhood friend Kelly told me about a line of natural vegan skin care, health, and anti aging products that she's absolutely fallen in love with : Arbonne. Kelly has always been extremely health conscious in terms of what she puts into her body and getting enough exercise, but only after learning about Arbonne did she realize how important it is to be using natural products on the outside of her body too!
Kelly first started using Arbonne for her baby who had eczema that wouldn't go away using regular methods. The Arbonne baby line cleared up her eczema within just a few days and this is what got Kelly even more interested in trying the other products. She told me that she feels good about using the products for her family, knowing that the company uses the purest of science and the purest ingredients.
Arbonne's products are formulated without:
-animal products (and byproducts)
- parabens
- formaldehyde donating preservatives
- Benzene, mineral oil, petrolatum, phthalates, Tolene (all petroleum based ingredients)
- PABA
Their nutritional products are all gluten free and contain NO GMO ingredients. They are also made without:
- artificial colors
- artificial flavors
- artificial sweeteners
- animal products
- cholesterol
- trans fats
She began using a lot of the Arbonne products and experienced such great results that she's been hooked and telling all her friends about it. She gave me some product samples to try along with info to learn more about the company and I was pleasantly surprised. I tried the daytime and night time creams, facial cleanser, toner, and corrective eye cream, body cream, serum, and body wash. The creams are very luscious and felt nourishing on my skin. Hydrating is a good word to describe them. I like natural creams that have substance to them if you know what I mean - not those ones that feel like mostly water and leave my skin feeling dry in a matter of hours. My daily beauty regime is quite simple. I wash my face and usually use coconut oil as a moisturizer on my face so using all these products seemed to take too much time. If you prefer a very simple routine like me, you might only want the moisturizer and facial cleanser.
Here are just some of the products from the baby line that she uses for her daughter!
Here's what else Kelly said "I believe in the company for its strong philosophy, research based formulation and green promise. I love how little of each product is needed to make a noticeable difference. I also love how diverse the product line is. "
You can check out their online catalogue HERE and have a look and their products for yourself. I think there's something for everyone. There are so many more products to choose from in addition to the skin care line. The baby line, make ups, spa treatments, perfumes, a line for men, and nutritional supplements as well.
If you're still wondering what's so special about these products, just check out the list of special antiaging/ healthful ingredients that are used and for what purpose. Exotic roots, herbs, extracts - many of which I'd never heard of before. Check the Botanical Glossary HERE.
The company is "green" conscious and global. It's available in Canada, USA, Australia, and UK. You can order online but when you order through a representative you have access to great discounts. If you're interested in ordering or you want samples, email Kelly: ktoffner @ hotmail.com . I think the samples are a great way to see what products work best for you before ordering.
Kelly is generously offering a FREE sea salt scrub to one of my lovely readers. She loves this and uses it regularly in the shower. Let's face it, we can all benefit from some exfoliation.

I'm not very well-versed in beauty products in general, but I've often appreciated the trick my mother taught me of washing your hair with vinegar to fix itchy scalps/dandruff!
ReplyDeleteWash with vinegar?! Never heard of this! I shall have to try, sounds esp good for the winter.
DeleteOoh I'd love to win the sea salt scrub. I've heard of Arbonne before via Colleen Patrick Goudreau's podcast "vegetarian food for thought" but had forgotten to look into the company.
ReplyDeleteI love Origins beauty products http://www.origins.com/customer_service/aboutus.tmpl#/Landing and Dr.Bronner's of course!

DeleteI have heard great stuff about Arbonne, but I've never tried! I love that rose msm lotion you mentioned on my blog! My favorite product right now is a rosé face salve I get on etsy.
ReplyDeleteI don't use many beauty products - but one thing I never ever leave home without is my Burt's Bee's lip balm. I loooooove them!
ReplyDeleteI keep the same thing beside my bed and use it every night :)
DeleteMy favorite natural beauty product is raw honey for masking. Great for moisturizing and exfoliating!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder, I need to do a honey mask. It's been too long!
DeleteThe only thing I use regularly is an SPF lotion, and I like Justin's.
ReplyDeleteI love everything from 100% pure. It's honestly the best line I've ever used! Thanks for the giveaway!

ReplyDeletei love 100%cocoa butter and my hair oil (peppermint, rosemary, morracan oil)
ReplyDeleteI like Zen Society oils and their tea tree wash. This product looks cool, thanks.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try Arbonne! My favorite beauty product is actually very simple and cheap: 1 TB raw honey and 1 TB cinnamon. Mix together then spread on your face. Leave it on for 5-20 minutes and then wipe off with a warm washcloth. It is an incredible exfoliator and leaves my skin so soft and glowing!
ReplyDeleteCinnamon with the honey, thats a neat idea ive never heard of before!!!
DeleteAs you noticed in my other comment, I am an Arbonne fan. The RE9 system is one of the best I've tried.
ReplyDeleteOtherwise, I'm a little obsessed with just basic coconut or argan oil.
I'm a coconut oil girl too!! Never tried argan oil... for skin or hair?
DeleteBoth :-)
DeleteI love coconut oil! I use it for my skin and cooking! It is so versatile!

This product is amazing! I've spent quite a bit of money on various products and prescriptions to treat acne and dry skin and this series of products helps with it all! I know it's spend but it is definitely worth it for all age groups! A little goes a long way and you will notice a difference.
ReplyDeleteclenziderm starter kit
I am just starting to get more natural in my products so I really dont have a favorite yet.
ReplyDeleteI just discovered it, but I'm loving Argan oil!
ReplyDeleteYou're the second person who's mentioned it - is it for hair or skin?
DeleteI like to use a facial brush with natural bristles. I do dry facial brushing. Great for exfoliating & stimulating blood flow.
ReplyDeleteCoconut oil for skin and hair!! Raw honey for skin/face! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is an excellent product. Lately, I've been using Extra Virin Coconut oil and sea salt to create a rub.
ReplyDeleteBeing a man, I don't use many beauty products, but I do use Neutrogena lotion after shaving, and when I have dry skin in general. Hoping to win to give the salt scrub to my fiance.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite beauty products are Jojoba oil and essential oil of lavender (I add to distilled water and put into a spray bottle for a toner) and of course, extra virgin coconut oil. :)
ReplyDeleteCoconut oil! great for the skin and hair, both inside and out! :)
ReplyDelete1 avocado and 2 tbsps honey to massage into hair for 30 minutes until washing! Smooth and shine!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Sarah and I love a foot scrub made of olive oil, sea salt, and peppermint oil!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite natural product is the coconut oil sold on the Dr. Mercola site—I think it's the highest quality and has the best taste (he also sells wonderful Himalayan salt). The coconut oil is also great as a moisturizer—it absorbs completely and leaves my skin super soft. Christina G. tinytina3 AT VERIZON DOT NET
ReplyDeleteI love using Trader Joe's Honey Mango shave cream. It works great and smells even better! It reminds me of a Pina Colada even though it doesn't claim to have any pineapple or coconut scents in it (but really I swear there is coconut in there).
ReplyDeleteI am just starting to another push to switch my beauty products. I'm currently researching tons. I'd love to win this product. Thanks for offering the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteAfterGlow Naturals Organic Herbal Infusion Shampoo for Healthier Hair and Scalp. Makes my hair feel soooo alive and shiny!
ReplyDeleteRight now, I like to use coconut oil as a before-shampooing conditioner. I just massage it into my scalp and lightly work it over my hair before I take a shower. It's not exactly a vegan product, I guess, but it's been the most helpful for me, and I found the tip on a vegan site :)

I love Arbonne ....I'm another coconut oil fan (I use it to remove eye makeup, on my heels and elbows...) and an argan oil fan. I have had a very dry upper lip for a week or so, just started putting argan oil on it religiously and it's definitely doing much better and almost back to normal. I'm impressed.
ReplyDeleteI like using Witch Hazel post washing my face. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteFor the best hair moisturizer during these cold months, heat up extra virgin olive oil until it is hot, add a bit of honey & stir well. Put on dry hair until entire head is covered, then put on a shower cap and wait for an hour before shampooing out. Leaves hair soooo soft and shiny :-)
ReplyDeleteoatmeal and egg white facial works wonders, especially in the winter! i too have recently come under the spell of arbonne--a friend gave me a free sample of their R9 line and i noticed a visible difference in weeks! i'm only 27, so i'm hoping the preventative measures (plus diet and exercise) will go a long way. thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'm new to natural alternatives to conventional products, but I have for years loved using brown sugar as a body scrub in the shower - I smell like a sweet gooey cookie and it makes my skin glow and silky smooth. Recently started using raw cacao butter as a body lotion 0 that's divine :) PS. This was an excellent review and I really am interested in the brand Arbonne now!
ReplyDeleteIt's not so much a natural beauty product, in the traditional sense, but I like to wash my hair with baking soda and rinse with apple cider vinegar. I get clean and shiny hair from it.
ReplyDeleteskin care routine
ReplyDeleteYou need a lemon wedge and a few drops of apple cider vinegar. I simply put a few drops of the vinegar on a lemon wedge and rub it all around my face (avoiding eyes). Leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with baking soda/water mix. Skin is left feeling tightened and brighter.
